Hi, my pup has started to lose his needle teeth, but i have noticed that his bottom canine adult teeth have come through, and the baby ones are still there on both bottom canines.
Will this sort itself out?

Many thanks
Hayley :)

Usually when puppy teeth are retained it's the upper canines rather than the lower ones, so there's a good chance that they'll be shed naturally. How old is he? If he's under 6 months then there's no real hurry, but if they're still there at 6 months the vet might have to remove them to make sure his adult teeth aren't pushed into the wrong positions.

My Isla still has one of her baby teeth, but I have put off going to get this out at the moment due to her having surgery on her leg last week, she was going in this week to get that done.  I forgot to ask if they could have taken out the tooth while she was "under" anesthetic, I was too stressed out everything just went haywire,  last week is a bit of a "lost" week LOL, if you all know what I mean.

A nice BIG juicy bone usually helps puppy teeth loosen and fall out ;)  just make sure the bone is bigger than pups head and supervise ;)

Tried that Dill did not work, its very hard to get bones in my area for some weird reason, I think some other doggy people have them ordered at the butchers and he keeps them for them LOL
