Ha Ha I might just try that I work on the premis that If i havent looked at something for a week or two I chuck it. My OH thinks everything needs keeping, he's got his school reports (I kid you not).

My OH is the exact opposite of yours - he goes through stages of huge 'clean outs' even when I thought the groaning mass greeting me from every cupboard was respectably sized and could stay for a few months more LOL.  As I said we hoard clutter but collect nowt :-p

Oooh that's a blast from the past! My dad comes from a farming background and his parents and his sister bought these horses so he made gorgeous hay carts for them all. He used to disappear into his shed for hours in the evenings making them.

I don't collect anything - how boring!

I wouldnt say I collect poodle stuff but friends and family have given me some nice pictures/figurines/paintings and memorabilia which is becoming quite a collection.

At the mo, i have everyone (colleagues, ex colleagues, friends and family) collecting milk bottle tops. My BF's daughter is collecting them for her brownie group - they are part of a programme where they exchange the tops for money and are buying a young girl a new wheelchair. Seeing as it was for a good cause i have gone hell for leather to collect them. The sooner we got enough the sooner the lottle cherub gets her chair :-)
