I have to confess that , because i can't have my poodle yet , i have been collecting poodle figurines ( hubby not happy!!) and have even had some sent from Canada .
I also have a good collection of breed books so that i have some idea of what i'm doing when she finally arrives .
So what do you collect ?

Actually I don't collect anything. Not after having to dust my mothers thimble collection :-( Such a fiddly job, and they had to back in just the right order. Enough to put me off for life :-)

All things ratty :-D  It helps me keep the number of live ones down :-o

Shoes, handbags, necklaces, bracelets, rings - the list goes on & on but I think you get the gist of it! :)

Poodle clothing!!! (River Island have a new pair of PJ's in which I just went out and bought - woop woop!).  I don't like to buy the poodle figurines as I prefer to make my own (which mum then snaffles to put on the mantlepiece with the rest of the family).

books/mags/dvds/dogs/pets/china etc

-wolf stuff (figurines, pictures for the walls, books, anything wolf) 
- Hair stuff
- underwear
- Dobe and Min Pin stuff

Anything Dandie Dinmont.  They were a popular breed in Victorian times, Queen Victoria even had one, so there are lots of old prints, figurines and broaches etc. to collect.  There was also a Dandie Dinmont Whisky which has given me a few water jugs, including a lovely old earthenware one and a very nice bar figurine but you are competing with the breweriana collectors over those :-)
In addition to a few better antiquarian dog books I also have a little collection of "Our friend the...." breed books.  These never cost much, except on the stalls at Crufts , even the first editions so they are a nice little thing to look out for.
I would collect Cocker stuff more but such a lot of it is mass produced trash although I do have a lovely original watercolour that my sister in law gave me which is probably my all round favourite doggy article in the house.

I dont really collect anything tbh just dogs at my house lol and PINK things!! Thats about it i think, i try and collect money but that never happens ha ha, but yh thats about it :)

I collect Willow tree figurines.

I collect pictures of celebrities with dogs and put them all into a file that I call the 'pet book'...I've got 4 ring binder files full to bursting with info on LOADS of celebs, from A list Hollywood stars to Z listers that would turn up to the opening of an envelope ;-)

Ive tried to get a figerine of a cocker and I agree its all rubbish or so chocolate box to be almost obscene.
You can get loads of Collie stuff. If you do find a figerine, if, its always black & white what about blue roan or goldens.

My cousin caught one! he literally fell out a window she picked him up, visited him in hospital and married him. I kid you not, Ive got a santa lookalike but he's a good cuddle when its cold.

I know I did the tall dark and handsome he was a rat. (not being offensive to rats) Cuddly and dependable is much much better and for keeping :-P

Up to you to judge the Cocker (and the price), but the Griffiths boys' are fabulous in my breed and look great in others. He'll paint them any colour you wish.

Yes she went over to act as a nanny to her brothers children in Hong Kong, he fell out of a window she married him. They have two children now she has a home in Devon and one in Hampshire and they have been together about 15 years. She is horse mad so her home in Devon has stables for 6 horses, she worked with the German Olympic equestrian team in her youth as well. Ok for some.

All part of the service LOL. Difficult to say on other people's breeds, but I think their quality in all the breeds I know is fantastic.

They do look a lot better quality than most I have seen but, I don't know, maybe it is the old fashioned look of the Dandie stuff that I like.  If I could get that in a Cocker item I would be happier to give it house room :-)

I have a running Beardie from the Griffiths collection. I tried to talk them into doing a rat but no luck. The fox kying down is gorgeous :-)

Lovely stuff but I won't be tempted.  Have collected ceramics for years and since we moved everything except one or two jugs in the kitchen are packed away in boxes.  Such a relief.  I have been there and done that - now I want to shed the baggage.  I still collect postcards of the town and area where I was born and brought up.  They don't take too much room.  On the down side they are not cheap now soooo - I don't really collect any longer. 

Chihuahuas items.

St Domingo.....SNAP...me too I collect Poodle Figurines....have about 300!!!! (I Love Dusting...lol).  I have some really lovely ones from all over the world, and also some very cheap and cheerful ones from local car boot sales.  My favourites are an Italian Spaghetti Poodle Band and a very beautiful Royal Doulton old fashioned Poodle.  I love searching e bay looking for any that I dont have.....it can be extremely addictive.

Ooh those pj's sound nice GCG, must go and have a look - I'm another poodle clothing collecter lol.

I am also off for some poodle PJ's and to Primark for a dressing gown . Oh , and if you don't want that bikini ......!!!!!

He's going to paint them to match my two for no extra cost, busy taking photo's now to send on for Col's birthday "Jake" then Whistler but it is diffecult to photo a black and grey bloob.

No collectors in this house - hoarders maybe LOL.  To date I've never been such a fan of anything that I'm inclined towards starting a collection, I'm rather more of the minimalist type - I don't do ornaments, bookshelves, etc.

However if OH would just take a couple of extra jobs on I'd be more than happy to collect fine jewellery :-p

I collect anything to do with my breed, i.e. figures, pictures etc.

I have also just started collecting 'Snoopy' figures (any donation welcome!)

And I have been trying to collect those horse figures that have the barrel cart attached to them and they have a one metal horse shoe on one raised foot, do you know the ones I mean?  hard to find them though,,,,,,,,

Oh Terry I wish I was minimalist but I always start with the best intentions and they collect paperwork. We stick it by the microwave, have filing cabinets but I cannot get OH to chuck it away he has access statements back about 20 years.
