my girl is now 46 days , well i was grooming her tonight as i do most nights and as i got to her tail she started to flag the when ready for mateing ...i have never seen this before when grooming any dog in whelp ...is this normal ??? is it just her hormones at this stage of whelp ???? 

Yep..  My bet - just hormones.

all of mine, dogs and bitches, whether in season, out of season, in whelp or not flag do this when I brush or rub their croup :)

after reading alot about reabsorbing im worried about my girl she was scanned at 5weeks into whelp ...she didnt like it 1 bit and was stressed :(  this is her 1st litter ..i was wondering if bitch can still absorb at this stage (5weeks) due to stress of scan ?
