You all may remember a recent thread in Memory of one of our wonderful members 'Liberty' ... Much missed!
   Well 2005 she organised making badges for everyone going/exhibiting at Crufts so members could identify each other. (and many members still have theirs!)
   Wouldn't it be a good idea to revive the 'Liberty' CD Badges!

Soooo My partner in crime Lea and myself will 'man the phones' anyone who would like a Badge please PM myself or Lea with your e~mail address and we will send you the template.
   All you need to do then is print it off and stick it to yourself!! (Laminate or sticky back plastic...up to you! I remember it was pouring down 2005 or was it 2006?)

(Don't fret if you don't have a printer let me know will post it snail mail :))

Wear with pride... Egality! Fraternity!.....Liberty! ;)

The year I wore it, I had the pleasure of meeting Libs :) :) (Scared the hell out of her when I shouted across one of the halls 'LIBERTY'!!!!!!!) ]So they do work!!!
If you see anyone with the yellow and blue badge you can spot them a mile off!!!!!
So if your going to crufts, wear the badge with your user name on with pride :) :)

This year our breed folk are wearing badges so we can identify people we 'talk' to online, should be great fun!

So I'll be the Dawn French Miniature with two badges and a silver Bedlington Ring clip :-D :-D

Liv thanks once again, got mine printed off and put in one of those plastic holder badge things that OH get when he goes to exhibitions.

I'll be there on Thursday in Hall 5, hoping to fit in a visit to Discover Dogs as well.

Have received the file but how on earth do I open it?  I've never dealt with an xls file before    tried a few different programmes but windows need to know which programme

Its an Excel file, and if you havnt got microsoft office (word excel) on your computer you wont be able to open it as far as I know :(
If noone comes up with anything I will try and get it onto something else for you to print off, or one of us could send it to you Snail Mail?????

I can view it on my lappy, but that won't connect to the printer :( and the Computer on the printer won't view it.  Is is possible to convert it to something like a JPG file? if so, I could do that on the lappy and then transfer it to BIG OLD BERTHA and then it'll print out :)

Have made a copy of the badge in jpg if anyone else is having problems :-D

Well, I forgot to take my CD badge   but it didn't matter as I didn't see any CD badges either!

I did meet Airedale Kate tho, she knew me from my description LOL so it must be fairly apt :-D

For anyone looking out for them they are blue and yellow (If you scroll down to the bottom of any forum page you will see the wording CHAMPDOGS.CO.UK ... thats what the badges look like)
   I'm meeting up with a few badge wearers so I know I'll spot a few at least!
If I see any TV cameras I'll try and get it 'in shot' (so don't be alarmed at some woman thrusting her chest at the screen!!) :-D

Took mine, but left the scissors etc. behind so wasn't wearing it.  Still, a cd'er still managed to accost me & got my attention by calling me Maddog :-D.  I was a little upset that no one standing nearby asked me why she thought I was a mad dog, obviously known me for too long ;-) Was lovely too see you by the way, I do recall seeing you at shows before.

Saw plenty of cd'ers on Gundog day which was nice.

I didnt see any CD'ers :-( I forgot to wear my badge on fri, but had it on the rest of the days. Hope everyone had a great time! :-)

I looked out for people in the Leo's and Newf's but had no idea who i was actually looking for as we were benched between the 2 breeds.

Texted HG backwards and forwards and never ended up meeting up, i went to one hall and she was in another, we just kept missing each other and you never hear your phone in the halls either.
Ahh well another time, another show or maybe a get together somewhere sometime.

I met Teri :-D and her stunning Tervs, what gorgeous dogs, was seriously tempted to dognap Midas !! I heard that Liv was there on the same day as me but didn't see her :-(
