Cher started labour at about 2 am this morning (its 4 now). 

Chase, was born at 3:50am.  A BOY so far!!!  Still one, maybe two more to go.

Such an easy whelper!

She so far has 3 pups, two males (red and a black and tan) and a red female.  Looks like there could be more too!!!

Well it looks like she is done.  She had 3 pups total, and is resting now.  All are reds, thought one was a black and rust, but he is starting to lighten up in colour now.  So there is (in order of arrival) Chase (male), Reba (female) and another male.  I havent named him yet, cant think of one.  So any suggestions?  He is a red male (although very dark in colour, I would say a dark stag red).  He was last born, and is sooo tiny. 

Cher is being a good mom, although I am a bit concerned about her two rear teats, as they are huge, hard as rocks, and she is having trouble cleaning herself because of them.  Think I am gonna put a warm cloth on them, and see if that helps her a bit.

Rufus, thats interesting!  I quite like that.

i got a boy called chase his dad was named rush.both liver in colour,then if i had a black boy is name was going to be dash
rush was named after the colour of bullrush plant the dark colour on the tips
