Not a sound for me either, and it didn't bother the dogs.

Incidentally I bought one of those electronic fly-catcher things last year (like this; don't buy one, they're rubbish), and had to send it back because of the high-pitched noise it made. I could only just hear it but it was really painful for my son. it didn't catch any flies, either.

I feel really old now and I'm only 40 (yes, I know but the older I get the older old gets :) )

If it makes you feel any better I've never been able to hear these things and I'm still under 25 - but my dad can! :-D

Feeling a bit rubbish about my age as turn 28 on Tuesday & OH kindly reminded me I was in my late 20's now & past my prime :(

Oh dear Gembo.........I remember that....I was determined to be 20  10 when indeed it was 30. It took til 50 that I sort of only just and very resentfully accept my age  :(

yeah i can hear it and ive just turned 24. its very annoying. dog didnt react though.

Well- I'm just not sure!! nothing could be heard at first, however as I have muted the general mouse sounds and i can never remember which way the sound dial goes round I didn't stand much chance anyway! but funnily when i connected the headphones i could hear a buzzing even when i was no longer doing the test and when i scrolled afterwards on this site it made a weird noise so maybe i'm just going slightly mad!

Yikes thats one annoying sound, Im 26 and partner is 34 and she couldnt hear it. The dogs heard it and started barking in the kitchen.

Wow, that's actually really painfull.

I could only faintly hear the sound but the pain is still lingering even now.  Very strange, I'm 40 this year and have poor hearing in some situations.  I think I'd rather the loitering teenagers, lol :)

All 4 dogs put their ears up but I couldn't hear a thing - interestingly even though I couldn't hear my ears were sore!

Well that cheers me up a little I guess, 30 in August and I could hear it!  Kids didn't bat an eyelid and neither did the dogs!

My daughter could hear it but I couldn't but I'm well over 25!
