I think they did it in an unfair way this year. Last year you only had certain days you could phone at, meaning the first person to receive their letter could not get ahead of anyone else. This year you could call anytime. I too got my letter today and we always get the post late here, around 1 pm. Who knows how many people got their letters days before, or 7 am today?

ive never done it at crufts before, usually get it done at a local show or our breed club show but its just run out so thought "oh that would be handy" seeing as im not doing many shows this year.  Oh well - I would probably forget his KC docs anyway !!

Just phoned to find out it was fully booked for eye tests.  As you say Marianne used to be paperwork was sent out and the date for phoning was a few days later giving everyone the opportunity to phone at the same time.

Oh well maybe next year, for this year going to have to pay the vet. LOL

Oh thats fantastic! (NOT) :( so i guess i won't be trying to ring tomorrow then. was hoping i would have been able to get my boy booked in-would have saved the OH wittering about eyetesting prices.

same here we get our post anytime between 10am and 2pm and sometimes you have to add on five days to the normal expected delivery times! i have known 1st class take 7 days and 2nd 10 days! so now i'm annoyed!
