Hi all,
I just wondered, with the many different breeds written about on this forum, what you found to be the best material for a dog toy. Khan loves his toys but like most heavy chewers they don't always last as long as we might hope. He has a kong toy which we fill with treats for when we go to work but I don't leave out many others as they're liable to be destroyed and we wouldn't want the consequences etc. During the times when we're at home however he has access to the rest of his toys but as they are rapidly becoming obselete I feel I need to invest, hopefully, in some toys that will last a bit longer.
What do you think is the best material? Rubber, latex, anything alse? Obviously the best will always be a butcher's bone but they get a bit smelly for our evening chillout in the lounge!
Two toys that have lasted are his soft cherrries and the little 'heat in a microwave' toy! Khan is nearly 8 months old and needs fairly large toys!
many thanks.
