Hi

Can anyone tell me when to expect my girl to come into season again after her pups?
Will it be six months post birth or six months post delivery?
Just trying to work out which shows to enter etc later in the year.
Also how long do you leave it after pups before entering first show?

Meant six months post birth or six months after last season- God I am knackered and pup now 10 days old. Was up three times last night as she was whimpering

Mine have always come into season at the time I would have expected them to if they hadn't had a litter, if you see what I mean. One of my bitches took best of breed at her first show post-litter, when the pups were 12 weeks old. (It was a small litter, so didn't take too much out of her. In fact you couldn't tell that she'd even whelped!)

well my girl came back into season as she would with having pups with 1st litter ...but 2nd litter she had a season when her litter were 5/6 months old ...x

Thanks both- I need  to get better at planning shows- I paid so many fees last year and then had seasons etc - thought I would try to think it out more this time
