one of my girls is going in tomorrow to have a biopsy on her lymph gland. I noticed when I was examining her prior to grooming her that her gland in her back leg was swollen.  I feel sick. cant stop crying, and have stayed away from people all day, just want to be with my girls and have an answer, but realize I wont get that tomorrow.  please, those of you who believe in the power of prayer, can you include Hattie, she is only 7 1/2.

Done ;)  Try and keep positive for now - you've noticed the problem and have the situation under the control of a professional.  Please God although this is a dreadful strain right now you will get good news and whatever has caused this with Hattie can be treated successfully and quickly.

Sending some positive vibes your way and positive prayers Upstairs :)
Give Hattie a gentle hug on my behalf.

Thinking of you and Hattie in our prayers--goes without saying, I know, but just keep loving every day you get to spend together and you'll find the strength to get through. We all know no matter how much time we get it will never long enough x

FINGERS CROSSED FOR A GOOD RESULT.
- By tadog [gb] Date 27.02.09 10:32 UTC
Yes Briedog. Hattie is a F.C.

Just back from leaving Hattie at the vets.  its only the one gland that is enlarged, the vet said that I was good to notice as early as I did. So fingers crossed.  I always go over all my dogs pre grooming to check for any body changes.  It's paid off in the past.  I would even go as far to say that they get better body checks than I do, which I will change.

My 12 yrs old (not F/C) also went in to get a needle asp done on a new lump, I wasnt worried about that I felt that it was just a fatty lump, which is what it was. But as she had a nasty one a few yuears ago I do check any new one's I find.

Thats me got Hattie home.  Had her chicken and tucked up in bed.  The others are like mother hens sniffing around her.
She is on antibiotics and has pain relief. The affected lymph node has been removed and sent off for histology.  Hope to have the result back mid next week.  Hopefully it will be good news as the rest of the glands werent swollen.

Thanks you all for listening to me.  X
