Hi All,
Its my first time exibiting this year and i wondered what time the doors opened for us dog people to go in?
As its my first time i will problely get there so early as i dont what to be late and miss everything.
OH already moaning about getting up at " silly o'clock " *(but hes as excited as i am really.)

Oddly it doesn't say either in the schedule or in the envelope with tickets etc. However with my passes for the day I am doing Discover Dogs, it says 7.30. I am pretty certain people have arrived earlier than that though in the past.
We have got there around 6.30 before and they have let us in with no problem, don't see why it should change.

(who doesn't have a schedule :-p )

We are always there by 7.0am - at least we get a good parking space ;-) don't want to carry my shopping too far. There are always loads of people already there.

Thought it said 6.15 in the schedule. My breakfast isn't until 6.30am & I can't see me being able to drag mother & friend away from that without a fight :-( Actually mother might not be coming now, she does this each year, decides she's not up to it. Might give the niceties a miss this year & agree with her :-P

we usually arrive around seven too its lovely to be able to settle in without hustle and bustle saying that it is pretty busy even at that time.

I got there at 6.15 last year and wasnt the first one there, the year before we were hammering on the door at 6am

we always set of at silly oclock, and get home at the same time.
enjoy it's only 1 day a year, we get there for around 7ish always get in ok.

Anyone know what the traffic is like later in the morning - are members of the public arriving all day or are all there quite early? I am just wondering if the roads are likely to be very congested as I need to be in that area though not for Crufts.

I went to visit last year on a sat, it was a nightmare and we were in a queue of traffic from about 09.00 onwards, i think it took about 1 hours to get through it, park up and get into the building. Though it was worth it..
We don't live far from the NEC, traffic is usually pretty bad from 7.30am - 9am, esp on the M42, if you're coming that way, IMO, try to get there as early as poss' even if it's just to avoid the the worst of the traffic.

I'm coming down the M6, normally it takes me about 6 hours to get to Birmingham but am trying to be sure how much extra time to allow. I need to be there at 1pm so sounds like the traffic might have calmed down a bit around there by midday. I actually come off at J6, Spaghetti Junction.
