Hi,
Having a really bad day,my TT girl has decided to get aggressive towards my other two dogs and the stress is making me feel ill. She's alittle angels in every other way so just don't know what to do. I think getting a third dog may of been a mistake even though i really want it to work.
We have been to training classes and she's coming on really well, loves all other dogs and people but if this carries on i can't cope and i couldn't get rid of either of the other dogs, it wouldn't be fare. Just having a bad day, maybe i'm just tired.

Hard to say Bear without all the facts (ages and sexes of your dogs) wether this is a period of flux during a status reshuffle and it will readjust then calm or wether you have bitches close in age hormonal and going at it hammer and tongs for example?
Give a bit more info and I'm sure you'll start getting some advice. (Hopefully I've bumped this back up to the top of active topics so it'll get more attention)
Hi
I had a quick look at your other posts - she is giving you a bit of trouble isn't she :) I do understand the stress a new dog can cause - just having one for a short holiday can completely upset everyones routines and you'll always see it in your resident dogs. I'm sure my dog spent the first year waiting for our puppy to go home!!
If I've got my dates right she came to you at the beginning of January didn't she? That really is still a very short time and it's worth remembering that she was kennelled for 6 months before coming into your home so that's got to be a huge adjustment for her too.
Perhaps you could remind yourself of the reasons you got her, and all the areas in which she's improved in the last month - I'm sure there are some! :)
So a quick review:
Bed wetting - has she made any progress? I'm sure it feels completely normal for her
Neighbours dog barking - must be adding to your stress levels and your dogs - any news?
Was the blood on the carpet a false alarm for her season? If not that might explain some of the behaviours you're getting
You said right at the beginning of your posts that your shnauzer wasn't keen on the TT - do you think they are still at the getting to know each other phase and that perhaps it just sounds worse than it is?
Do you use a baby gate? They can be a great help to give the older dogs a bit of time off from an over excited youngster. I still give my two regular time apart. Have you noticed that it happens at certain times? Food and pre walk excitement are common triggers
Bad days are completely normal - have a cuppa, have a good nights sleep, then come back to it again tomorrow :)

Hi,
Thanks for the posts.
with regards to some of the problems i've had your right i shouldn't expect everything to run smoothly straight away.
thankfully the bed wetting has stopped since i changed the bed for alot of thick blankets, which i can wash alot easier if there is an accident.so alot less stressful.
I'm going to training classes and the TT is doing really well. she's great on the lead as well. still abit nervous when we're out walking if there's any strange noises but is now used to cars, lorries etc and loves all the dogs we meet.
I got the TT because my boxer is getting on abit (9yrs) and he suffers from hip problems so he can only go for short lead walks else he really suffers and he's happy sleeping most the time. anyway my thought was to get a play mate for the shnauzer as she's got loads of energy and no one to play with. Also when my poor boxer passes away then there will still be two dogs for company.
As for the neighbours don't think we'll ever sort that out,it's the summer thats worst so we'll wait and see.
I do use a baby gate and the TT and shnauzer have time apart.
I do feel better today and i'm going off for the morning walk, fresh air always helps.
