Can anyone recommend a good wormer for pup and mum?
Do you take them to the vet to be done or do them at home?
I think it has to be done from 2 weeks old- is that right?

Also dreading cutting nails- I took the top of my daughters finger off when she was three weeks old doing hers so dreading doing a baby pups

Drontal puppy suspension at 2,4,6,8 weeks, use it yourself at home, just weigh puppies for dosage, i have never had any problems using it.

As for cutting nails, wait til the puppies are sleeping and they dont even wake up if you are gentle

Good luck with your babies :)

I've used Panacur Paste on our puppies.  It is given over 3 days and hasn't upset their tums.  Its easily done by yourself (its in a syringe) and i imagine the vet would charge quite a lot to adminster it.  The 1st wormer is usually at 2 weeks.  Mum needs to be wormed at this time too.
