Hi guys,

I have just put up some voiles in our new house, which do look lovely but my question is how far off the window sill do they hang or do they touch the sill? I'm having a debate with my Hubby and Mum at the mo and just wondered what other peoples were like!

Also - Do you hang them with wire and hooks or do you use the tension rods. If you use the rods do they stay up?!

Tension rods here, and they hang so they are about 1" off the window sill, it doesn't notice from outside as the window frames hide it, just in case of condensation.  Never had any problems with the tension rods staying up either.

I usually hang them in the windows! ;-)

tension rods work well.
and have added advantage of when my bad puppy goes and yanks on them the whole lot comes down rather then the voile ripping....  eventually the word NO will sink in I hope.

Or saying that i have purchased one i really like and waiting for the 4 poster bed i want to come down in price, it will then be hung on the back end of that..
