Well right now she is day 59. But in her line, they seem to go anywheres from day 57-63.
About the blue thing, my daughter said I was going to get a blue because I am looking to get a new show dog. Blue dogs arent allowed to be shown, so she said I would get it, since thats what I dont want. Looking for a black and tan or a red pup. Either colour, I am not picky. Although a chocolate would be nice!

Awww good luck Jan and Casie. We will all be with you, following progress closely. I cant believe how quickly the time has gone, that its here already. There is so much helpful advice on here ,im sure it will feel as thou everyone will be in the room with you when the time comes!
I for one will be keeping my lap top on for news from you or Kory, and waiting for piccies please?

Still waiting, think this girl is never going to have these pups. She always has been one to do things on her terms, so no sense in thinking having pups would be any different.

We all get on tenterhooks over someone else's babies! Awww! :-) :-)
So, keep us updated and everyone will be celebrating with you soon.

Well still nothing, the last couple of days we have been thinking that by morning for sure (no luck).
Just double checked my calendar, and she is now at 62 days from the third breeding and 60 days from the last. Silent heat so we bred her as long as the male was interested and she would let him. Almost a good thing that we were breeding Cher at the same time, cause when the experienced male didnt ever wake up when Cas was in the room, we decided that she must be out.
Hope that I never have another one like her again cause this 10 day due date is exhausting, especially when you add the couple of days for her going early because of the litter size (4 pups for a mini is exstremely large).
She is dropping more evertime I take a good look at her. (from above she looks to be skinny, which this dog has not been since she was 4 and did the minpin spread, with maturity).
My vet is calling everyday to check on her, and they have a poll going as to what day the pups will finally get here.
Checking the calendar we realized that if Cas goes to 63 days and Cher delivers at 60 days we could be whelping 2 litters at the same time. Think that might be better than one day apart, lol.
Last night I brought my matteress downstairs to the livingroom, as my back was no handling the little couch. So far this week we have done 4 puzzles, and yesterday bought 4 more. But yesterday there were some uneven puddles on the carpets so she is getting real close, must be leaking when she jumps off the couch (she is determined that that is where she is going to have them, on my white couch)
That is all for this morning, when I came down here she was sleeping very peacefully with my sister, so not for a while yet anyways.
Jan

Mom, hang in there! Waiting bites, and with all the excitement, and such going through your mind, it makes it a tad harder. Maybe today? I dont know. But dont jinx it with saying Casie and Cher will whelp on the same day! ARG. It will be like the movie Father of the Bride 2!!! (Pictures Steve Martin running back and forth at the hospital between his wife and daughter giving birth!)

Must be a hbit of the smaller breeds! One of my girls insisted on whelping under the radiator in the front room, on my beige carpet. The green stains didn't even match it!
Another girl wouldn't accept anywhere except the settee, so I covered it with bath towlels and sat with her. I will say it was much better for my old back! :-)
Hang on in there.

fingers crossed here too :) x

Posting for Impish:
Update: Lots of nesting last night, saw contractions. But no pups yet. Casie is resting comfortably on the couch at the moment.
Thinking about calling the vet, to get these pups out. She has shown signs all week of going into labour, but then not delivering any pups. This is a large litter, and she is small, so just waiting for the vets office to open to give them a call and see what they say

I keep dropping in to check! fingers crossed it happens today and everything goes well. Good luck Jan and Kory.
x

OOPS and of course to the little mums Casie and Cher x

We are home and Cas is nursing the pups in her box. She is a fantastic mom.
I have a boy and a girl, think they are both stag reds, but ever so often when I look at the little girl, I think she may be a chocolate. But Casie's breeder said I would have to work hard to get a chocolate (but I know that is not a given, sometimes you get surprises). But I really dont care all are happy and healthy.
I have been on pins and needles all day, and I cried when they brought the pups and Casie to me. Cas is beautiful and the pups are so sweet. A new mom always has such expression, a puppies are always adorable.
This took 3 tries to get, but it is more than worth the wait.
We will get pics up as soon as we get some sleep, me and my sister have been up since yesterday morning, and are going on nothing but adrenilin. Will let everyone know when the pics are up and running.
Thanks everyone for the support and encouragement you have given me over the last week or so.
Jan, and of course Casie (Momma Cass)

So glad all is now peace and harmony in the Crespin household ... until Cher decides to pop!
Congratulations to Mama Cass (don't let her near chicken!).
