Hi

I had a KC registered litter born two weeks ago. Now there is a story here so bear with me.

I recently had to spend several weeks with my parents and whilst there one of my girls came into season. We kept them separate (or so we thought at the time) but a couple of weeks later when my father was in hospital, we were talking and I mentioned that if I didnt know any better she was pregnant and he just grinned. The next day he admitted that he had let the two dogs together.

At the beginning of January my father lost his battle with cancer and the pups were born three weeks to the day so this is a very special litter.

I have decided that I want to respect his memory and call the pups after him. I have therefore come up with the following but there are 6 puppies (5 boys and 1 girl) so need help with some,so any suggestions greatly received.

AFFIX Joe's Legacy
AFFIX Joe's Doing
AFFIX Joe's Surprise Gift (Bitch as was born 2 hrs after others)

As you have proably guessed Joe was my Dad.

Thanks

Or how about using famous people or characters who have the name Joe..

Off the top of my head all i can think of is Joey Tribbiani from Friends.

Have you checked with the KC that you're able to use the word "Joe's" so many times? At one time you were only able to use a word in a single name and not repeat it in other names.

If you have a registered Affix then repeat words are acceptable.  They wont allow it if there is no affix.

I have an affix so I can use Joe on all of them.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

Affix Heavenly Joe
Affix Joe's Star
Affix Joe's Memory of Perfection (dont know how many characters you can have in your registered names with the KC)
Affix Joe's Choir of Angels
Affix Joe's Guardian Angel
Affix Joe's Heavenly Angel
Affix Joe's Walk of Life
Affix Joe's Paws to Fill

Hope that helps.  So very sorry about the loss of your dad.  Very nice sentiment to name pups after a man who definately meant a lot to you.

Did you Dad have any hobbies? Like Affix Joe's Fishing Boy, or Affix Joe's Blue Boys (Chelsea) could you put something that was special to your Dad in their names.
