Hi
We have Dogues and live in the North East. The best person to address any queries to would be the breeder. She should give you a diet sheet showing what food the pup has been reared on so far. If you need to know anyhing else or just want a general chat let me know.

Hi Staffie, thanks for your reply, the breeder who I am getting Bailey from is new to breeding Dogues (her bitches first litter) and recommends a meal and tripe diet??? Ugh!!!! Her dogs are very impressive and appear from what I can read upon breed standard, I hope! and their diet works for them but it smells! :( Also do you know of a vet that specializes in the breed? My local vet has treated all our outher animals and I have great confidence in him but has very little experience only one or two on his books. And I have read about the condition that dogues can suffer from reference their blood group have you heard of this? have any comments on? as I am going to get my pup tested ASAP as I've read that they can die from it. I hope you dont mind me picking your brain its just you can read about the breed to your hearts content but another owners experience is greatly appreciated. :) Ps your advice is greatly appreciated.
