I popped into Pets at Home earlier and met a woman who came over to say hello to my dog.Her and her husband were looking for a puppy food for their retriever cross and the husband picked up a bag of James Wellbeloved, the woman read the ingredients and said to him she didn't like the look of some of them as she didn't want a food with any fillers, she said she had been feeding Salters but just couldn't get it any more and she would have to start giving a home cooked diet if she couldn't find anything decent-obviously someone who knows what goes into some foods!
We were standing next to the Companion Care vets surgery and the young receptionist butted in,saying that the best food by far was Hill's,she said they have lots of dealings with the company and the food was brilliant-the ingredients were top quality and absolutely no fillers and it was recommended by the vets.
I bit my tongue(makes a change) as the woman walked off to go and pick up a bag....
I know opinions vary greatly on feeding but really.....

'Some' being the operative word - certainly not all if she headed for the Hills rather than the hills :-D

Hmmmmmmm hills and Pets at Home!  Told my manager straight once about what was said to him, explained what's what in a food and made people make their minds up to what food they would recommend!  Hill's wasn't top of the list at Bradford by the time I finished with them! :-D

I feed my cavs and jack russell "Wainwrights" dry..turkey and rice flavour. They were eating it fine..no problems with wind or runny bums:( sorry.
Last few days theyve been off it a bit.. do I stick with it or add wet meat to it. 1 cav in season..might be the reason for her to be off food...other 2??????
