
If you overuse the Thornit, then yes it does clog up, but you can gently clean out with olive oil on some cotton wool. I don't believe any ear should be irrigated regu;arly as it can promote wax build up as the ear uses the wax as a defence!
If you're having repeated problems with ears it may be as well to put some thornit into a plastic bag big enough to take a paw. Put the paw into the plastic bag and jiggle it about till it covers the paw. Shake off any excess. Job done, no need for dramatic water sessions!
