Hi..just a quick question. 1 girl in season, day 7...other girl not in season but continually shoving her butt in other girl's face!!!!

I would say its quite normal, your other girl being in season is probably making this one feel flirtatious. I have a very flirty little Cavalier, only moments ago she was cocking her leg up so our other dog could have a sniff 'down there' - and she's not even in or near a season!!

My Samoyed also humps my Cavalier all the time - routinely after every meal and after every walk. I think my girls are very confused.

mine are cavs and they lift the back leg so the other can have a good sniff.....my jack russ girl who is spayed and 8 yrs old is doing the humping at the mo!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, my Samoyed is spayed and she is the worst humper of the lot !!

So strange isn't it when you see the back leg lifting - first time I saw Pixie do it, I really thought she was cocking her leg to pee - then I remembered she was a girl!! lol!

lol...i agree cavs are compulsive humpers....all 3 asleep now, having humped and been fed!!!! Dirty girls.but i love em.

Dogs hump for dominance and pecking orders, for fun, or just because they are in the mood, and they aren't so caught up on which sex they participate with and some which human leg/cushion they take a liking too. :-)

Not quite so sexually restrained as us, a quick off! generally does the trick. :-)

Our entire pomXchi girl lifts her leg for my gsd to sniff and when she wee's.
Think she is also trying to keep her feet dry.
She also regularly humps our male kitty ,  he looks most confused!

All of my girls hump, sometimes all at the same time like they are doing the conga lol. Its most embaressing when we have guests round and they start with all the excitement of new people in the house. It seems worse somehow as im a lesbian and live with my partner and then the dogs behave as if they are all lesbians also, get some right strange and embaressing comments from visitors lmao.

our Boston does the same thing to our Boxer bitch (who is spayed)when she is in season the poor Boxer always has a look of utter disgust on her face with her but still lets her do it even when she is trying so sleep,she is such a annoying madam.

2 of my girls take it in turns lol and my pup just sits there looking at them and looking at me and then starts barking at them and then all hell lets loose lol

i love my dogs..theyre completely nuts and fit in well in this nutty household....the persian cat stays out the way tho.!!!!!!!!!!!!
