I was just looking for some advice  Last weekend we noticed that there was some blood on the kitchen floor and Bailey sleeps in there alone so it must have been from her.  the blood was tiny little spots and the day or so before she had been quite submissive when playing with our other dog (unusual for her) and she was very quiet and affectionate and seemed to have lost her appetite so we assumed that she was in season although she's only 4 months old.  My husband looked on the internet and spoke to the breeder that we had her from and both said that it was unusual but has been known.  Then the following day she appeared to have stopped bleeding and since sunday there have been no signs of blood in the kitchen or around the house and although she is still a bit submissive and is weeing more than usual she appears to be back to normal.  I've kept and eye on her and also checked her bits for signs of bleeding but she seems to have stopped although today there has been a feint sign of a bit of dried blood on her skin around her vulva and she doesn't look to swollen.

Could this be a warning that she will be coming into season soon, has anyone expirienced this before?????

it could be a pre-season break down but TBH if there's no visible sign of swelling at the vulva and yet blood staining I'd be inclined to think she has perhaps a urinary infection or cystitis.  Might be worth trying to collect a urine sample (a large flat dish or tray under is the best way IME)and taking her to the vet for a check up in case there is an infection going on.
