We had a lady ring us wanting to use our boy at stud,
Her bitch is nearly six and never had a litter before, we have told her that club rules state that bitches over 5 cannot be mated if they have never had a litter before.
What i want to know is is it just club rules or is it a KC rule as i cannot find anything on their website about bitches over 5.
Just to let you all know she will not be using our boy !!

No, nothing in the KC rules, but Club code of ethics a good enough excuse - and when all's said and done, you don't need an excuse anyway. You are perfectly in the right to choose who your boy is and is not used on.
