I have a show at Ryton tomorrow, just wondering what the roads are like round there ??

inthemistuk might be able to help if she's around, I seem to remember a post about Coventry!

OH works at Jaguar at Whitley, just up the road from Ryton - he just phoned me to say it's snowing heavily there and he's coming home early. They've sent everybody home from the Gaydon site which is 20 miles south, so there must be some pretty bad snow in the area.

Clairey, most of the A46 is closed - which is the way into Coventry (Ryton) north and south I think - It is still snowing heavily here and it promises to freeze overnight :(  whether the show is going to be open I don't know but I would have thought most people might not risk it, to be truthful I wouldn't and I only live 5 minutes from Ryton..
Maybe check with the secretary?

The snows moving southeast apparently :) its already slowing down here now.
Its still going to be frosty, icy paths and roads they say (bbc weather)

Im from coventry, it snowed in the night and is melting now.....the local weather reports are saying light snow showers today and the cold and bright tomorrow

thanks, yes it is stiil on - I was quite surprised I thought it would be cancelled. 

I will give it a shot, leave early, give myself plenty of time :)

all roads are clear unlike yesterday morning at 6!!
am now in a shop working and have to say slowly changing my mind about the peeps here!!
have to go to bed now as im off to Alicante at 6am...back on sunday...
fellas idea of a day out....cheaper than the train to london....
