I have just seen the news today about her cancer spreading to her liver and beyond .
I have no interest in celebrities so didn't know how bad she was .
The thought of possibly leaving her children must be unbelievably bad .  My thoughts are with her .

Haven't seen the latest programme on her but read a review and the reporter says it was heartbreaking to watch as Jade realised her hair was coming out. She has been a bit slated for still being on TV/magazines etc. but says that she is doing it purely for the money so that her kids could have the life that she never had and know that she did her best for them
Very very sad to think of two wee weans going through this.

I really like Jade. She has had a very hard life(carer for her mum, dad in prison, dad died, mum lost an arm, became a single mum, got involved in the BB race scandal, boyfriend went to prison) and lets face it,she is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but she has overcome adversity and has 3 gorgeous boys.She is one of the celebritys few honest people, she calls a spade a spade and i like that.  I really do fel very sad for her. Poor girl, cant imagine what it must be like.

Feel very sorry for her to, as a mum its the most terrifying thing to think you may have to leave your children behind,I hope her treatments keep her going with a good quality of life for a good long while yet.

I feel the same as you Fred's Mum. It's awful that anyone has to suffer this so young and with little children to care for , so sad.

Agree with you both, she is not the sharpest but she has personality to spare. 27 facing death with children, I hope she gets a good few years but the treatment is v. hard. Give her strength to last a bit longer for her children.

I am not a big fan of Jade, but my thoughts are with her at this time, and her family.

I hate having smear test done, but have it done anyway, as this proves, it is SO important for us women to have regular tests,,,,

The things us women have to go through, it is hard, but we do have the opportunites to have different checks done, so I would say to everyone keep up to date with your health checks.
My friend is going through treatment at the moment for Breast Cancer, before she found her lumps, me nor her had ever really regularly checked, but now it is a routine thing for both of us, and our friends and family.

My friend has put on a brave face throughout her treatment, losing her hair, tiredness etc: she is just about to start her Radiotherphy, I think she is a star, and have tried to help her where I can with collecting her kids from school etc: but she is such a stubborn friend! She has hardly missed anything in her day to day life.

I was so gutted for Jade to hear this news, i really feel her and her boys....my heart goes out to her to have to face this at 27....i know it does happen but it is truly is very sad.

I feel so sorry for her and sad that it has taken like this for her mother to all of a sudden become one.  Wouldn't even like to think what she went through as a child.  Luckily she has houses and money etc. all put away for her sons, it's as though she knew that this was going to happen to her.

As I understood it, she had kept up to date with all her smear tests.  I have read that her very virulent form of cervical cancer become aggressive within the time scale for testing, I don't know if that is true or not.  I feel so sorry for her, and I don't think that her intelligence or lack of it, her lifestyle or her upbringing is the issue here but that two little lads may soon be without their Mum.  :(

Whatever we think of her - seeing someone receiving tragic news like this makes us feel for her and her young family.  It is more poignant in that it is splashed across the news headlines like this.  The photo on yahoo news was awful.  They could show a little compassion for her family and friends.

I saw a snippet of Jade with her hair falling out and her despair. Also saw her 'preparing' for Santas visit she really is a very caring mum, making magic for her children......

I can only begin to imagine the sadness and fright she must be feeling. It certainly makes you count your blessings.

I do feel for her and her children but from what was said on her programme she went for a smear test and got an abnormal results and was asked to go back - from what I heard she didn't go back to have this checked out....so it may have been preventable.
Such a sad situation to be in and sooo young.

I watched this episode, flick it on by accident. When her hair was falling out she was distraught, she looked like a little girl. As you say never been a big fan, but my heart went out to her they had to switch the cameras off as she was so upset

You are probably right Staff, I didn't see the programme and you can't believe all you read can you?  I would prefer to think that it was preventable.

I think she has been treated a couple of times for abnormal cells. So think this was not a recent thing to have cropped up.

Does Jade have 3 children? I only thought she had two, but nonetheless my thoughts are with her and her family as I cannot imagine what she is going through and even now is securing the future of her boys x

I have to admit when Jades cervical cancer was first reported I actually didn't take much notice, a few years ago perhaps cervical cancer would have scared the life out of me, but caught early enough I've known quite a few people have cervical cancer and all have had recovery from it as I guess many on here also can confirm, I just thought she would recover and the papers were just making a large hoo ha over it all.

Now, I am feeling desperately sorry for her and a little ashamed that I just poo poo'd the whole thing as a publicity stunt, it has brought back the reality that this is a killer and as we can see can easily spread, I can't imagine how she must be feeling with 2 small children, she must be desperate, it is the worst thing ever to know you may leave two small children behind, I've never been a fan of hers but I'm glad she has had the chance to gain monetarily for her childrens sake. (Just please don't marry Jack)

My thoughts will be with her, if nothing else she loves her children very much.

according to the newspaper yesterday she had pre-cancerous cells removed age 16 but the tumour wasnt picked up until it was the size of a tomato, I dont believe it was due to her not going for smear tests.

She went for regular smears. It would appear to be an error not on her part that it wasnt picked up sooner. It was in the papers a while ago that she was poorly and kept fainting etc. Had lots of tests, but none seemed to pick up anything. Then she found out this devastating news.

She has two boys, Bobby and Freddy. They are with her ex Jeff brazier (who was on shipwrecked) but she is now with someone called jack.

I thought it was 2 also, 2 boys 4 and 5..a few people have said 3.   Very sad.

A family freind of ours passed away yesterdayafter a short very rare illness that nobody believed ( well family and freinds that is)  could be fatal. 35 leaving a 7 year old boy.  Have done nothing but think about these things and life in general for the last couple of days.  It can be taken so easily.

I think we should all be more body aware, i wasn't right for sometime, and was being treated for a Water infection, then it was hormones , so kept going back until finally a Doctor examined me properly and referred me. as said, early detection is crucial as with all cancers. I think to how lucky i am to be here, mine cc had spread to bowel and bladder, i was told i was advance... very lucky that it hadn't spread into my lymph glands. My heart really goes out to Jade and those poor boys.

It's such a terrible tragedy for this young woman and her two beautiful boys :(  27 years is no age at all - she must be so frightened for her children's future without their Mummy. 

Prayers are being said for them all.
