hi, i am very interested in breeding in the future but would like to find as much information as possible before hand. If anyone knows any particular websites or could tell me information themselves this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

The KC site will tell you which health tests are neccassary for your breed, they also list all the Breed clubs, might I suggest you contact and join your Breed club, start Showing your dog, to get an honest, impartial opinion on whether your dog/bitch is of sufficient quality to add to an already(usually) saturated gene pool! Learn all you can ringside and elswhere i.e Ringcraft classes, find a mentor, make sure you have buyers for your pups before you start(especially in this economic climate!)  Hope this helps? Also, if you do go ahead may I suggest you read and re-read and absorb the 'Book of the Bitch' available on Amazon. What Breed do you have?

There is a lot on the KC website. http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/breeding/index.html Also check out the websites of your own breed as they often have good info (varies a bit from breed to breed of course, some breed club sites are more informative than others).
