Hi, does anyone know where I can get a pair of REALLLLLLY wide wellies?

Have tried Muck Boots and Hunters ( Just about got into the Argyle 3/4 length.)

Don't mind the cost or if they have to be custom made,  I just want normal wellies, not spotty, flowery, stripey....just normal!!!

Thank You.

Have you tried cotton traders, they have some that have a zip at the bottom to open wide to get your trousers in.
Ihave a pair and they are very comfy to wear.

Do they have to be full length wellies or would the ankle length type muck boots do (eg. Dublin Yardmaster Boots on www.dublinclothing.com)?

Are you looking for wide in the foot or wide in the calf area?

I have this trouble and have had to cut mens wellies down at t a slant below my calf muscle bulge.

I can just about manage to fit into a mans wellies in the calf now that I have lost weight, but no way a womans and I am only needing to loose a stone or so.

In my adult life (from 14) I have never been able to wear anything longer than an ankle boot, or ones coming to below the calf muscle.

I can see the leopard spot and tassle ones coming in very handy on the Farm!!! ;-)

Bit on the girly side but a good size and price:
www.jileon.com (There is a 50cm calf size on this site)

These are more my style!!!!:

Anyone else seen any???

Now if I'd seen those leopard print ones when I was looking, I'd have had them like a shot (although my legs would probably even be too fat for Evans wellies). I am definitely embracing my inner Bet Lynch these days.

I ended up buying the Hunter Festival boots, short ones.

Are these any good from The wide fit shoe company?

i wear either a size 11 or size 10 depending on the shoe or boot , after a very wet munster circuit last year and also because we have moved to the countryside :-)  i really need a pair of wellies and i dont want a pair of green wellies , i would like something with a bit of colour , i logged on to evans but for some reason the wellies only go up to a size 8 :-(

What a great site, I wear the neoprene ones and they do stretch.
- By bostontea [gb] Date 02.02.09 15:10 UTC
Whistler,

Any idea how much the neoprene ones stretch by? I'm tempted by the 'Bog' ones.

Thanks

Mine were about £34 my OH has some as well. You can also get diving boot, or dare I say my OH has spats for over walking boots and they work ok, so much so I am buying some to walk in as they are great with walking boots.
