Sorry if this is a stupid question but I've never heard of a dog with a cold before, however my pup is due at the vets tomorrow after a few days of quite regular sneezing and being generally snuffly. She is eating well and still as mad as ever however sounds like she has a cold.

Do yourself a favor and don't worry UNTIL tomorrow :) You really can't do anything about it and it's not healthy for your body and mind :D Worry will kill all of us females off :rolleyes: It's our worst enemy :(

You're right of course but she's my baby and I hate to think of her being unwell and I'm worried sick about her, but thank you for your reply. I shall let you know how the little monkey gets on.

Dogs can get respiritory and throat infections as well as kennel cough so I would imagine that these can count as "colds"

One of mine had Tonsilitis this year and she had cold type symptoms with it :-)

Hi, took poor little pup to the vets this morning and it sounds like it could be mild tonsillitis. Her tonsils are inflamed a little and she has a raised temp. Shes a tough little thing so should be on the mend soon.
