Hi there
I saw this poem in a magazine when I was about 13 (a couple of years ago now, LOL!"!!) and I liked it so much then, I wrote it out and stuck in on my wall. I remembered about it recently and think I can even remember the words - I think. If anyone else has ever heard of it and knows of any missing lines, please tell me.
HEARTS
For every heart that finds a love
There is a heart that cries
For every dream that is reborn
There is a dream that dies
For every day that's filled with sun
There is a day of rain
For every smile upon your face
There is an hour of pain
For every new life that is born
There is a grave to see
For every heart that's open wide
There's one without a key.
(Don't know who to credit for it - anon)

For every heart that finds a love,
There is a heart that cries.
For every dream that is reborn,
There is a dream that dies.
For every day filled with the sun,
There is a day of rain.
For every hour filled with joy,
There is an hour of pain.
For every smile upon a face,
There is a tear to cry.
For every fond hello you say,
There is a sad goodbye.
Found this on a search on Google - slightly different versions attributed on different sites to Melanie, Christine and Gabrielle among others :D
