Hi, can anyone recommend a lovely smelling shampoo/conditioner for dogs that is not too expensive? Would love to know what others are using. Have tried doing a search before posting this thread but couldn't find much relevant info. Thanks.
Have you looked at Doreen Paige website? They may seem a little expensive but are very concentrated and so last a long, long time. They seem to have shampoos and various products for every colour and type of coat so I'm sure you would find one to fit your needs exactly.

Hi, yes I did have a quick look but there seemed to be so many to choose from I wouldn't know which one to pick, especially as my dogs have particolour coats. Cost wise you are probably right, being highly concentrated they are good value for money. Thanks.

I have found the best smelling one for my nose is a honey and oatmeal one. Smells a lot like the TIGI one i used to have for my own hair. They also have a conditioner and coat spray in the same fragrance. Its the JohnPaul range. Not for everyone, depends on your breed i guess. But it does well on my breed.
I do know that honey and oatmeal is also supposed to be good for those dogs with sensitive skins.

Johnsons Dog Deodorant Shampoo. Smells great and it (the smell) lasts for days.......cheap too!!

Oh Molly I wish I had seen your post before I went to the Range last night .... I picked up that exact Johnsons shampoo, think it was only £3.99 but then put it back thinking it probably wouldn't be that good. Will go back and get some, thank you.
I use Crazy Dog shampoos.. my boy is currently smelling deliciously of wild cherry.. its more of a gentle scent then a full offensive smell. They do baby power, pina colada among others :)

Hi, thanks for that - can you only purchase those shampoos online ? Wild cherry sounds divine.
I got mine from my local garden center, but you can get them online. I know hub int. has them in most if not all "flavors"

I use Dirty Beastie , beautiful smell, and lasts for ages!

Hi thanks for the suggestions, will probably end up testing out a few then ! I read about dirty beastie but was a bit put off because I got the impression it was originally for horses and wasn't sure if it would be ok for a cavalier coat. (? too harsh).

take a look at these lots to choose from:
if you give them a ring they will tell you which is best for your breed.

Ok does anyone know of a dog shampoo that both my dog (a GR) and the family will like! She had a bath Saturday and on the Sunday walk found the first patch of mud she got to and rolled in it presumably to get rid of the smell of the dog shampoo.
