a friend has a dog who has just had a tumour removed....suspected osteosarcoma. im trying to help them find a specialist and wondered about the AHT. Can anyone recommend a specialist his hound could be referred to?

My flatti was treated twice for tumors at Davies in Higham Gobian Hertfordshire. Brilliant kind vets, we also had to go to cambridge for successful radiotherapyI would certainly give them a ring. Ibelieve you may need a refferal frm your own vet. If you need their number pm me and I will send it. Good luck to your friends I hope it is a good outcome

Hi
My dog had osteosarcoma too we saw an oncologist in surrey prymak referrals ltd caroline prymak, we could not have asked for a better oncologist she was great, she gave no false hope but was upfront about treatments etc, we went amputation and chemo best decision I ever made, the cancer never returned and she lived another 7 plus years, I lost her to a massive stroke two weeks before her 15th birthday  amputation never hindered her at all she still ran swam played and dug!!  if it is osteosarcoma there is a great yahoo group bonecancerdogs that she may want to join the information there is amazing
