Tonight is the doggy people Trinny and Susannah where they gave makeovers to women who show/work their dogs - should be interesting :)

oooh going to watch that for sometips , hope they do short , slighty overweight(HO HO) person with giant breed dog , trying to juggle brush, slobber cloth and dog

just seen the advert for it, looks like it is all sorts of people not just dog people.  I know there is an agility person on there, thought there would be more - maybe there is, suppose I will have to watch and find out :)
- By ClaireyS Date 13.01.09 20:03 UTC

I dont know, it said on agility net that it was on tonight.

I have to admit that I only watched them once or twice.  I just used to find it so irritating that 2 people thought they could criticise others, when they both so desperately needed a decent hairdresser.

You threw me for a moment there, I watched them last night and not a hint of dogginess, it was middle England village type stuff, Lady Vicar and Mayor, WI and the frumpy flower brigade as they called them.

Can't believe the mayor was only about 6 months to a year older than me.  I hope that I don't look like that in 5 months time when I'm 38.  She looked about 58!!!  My mum looks younger and she's 70 this year.

Ditto!!!!!
She was 6 1/2 years older than me. And I really couldnt believe it :-o :-o :-o :-o
Even after the make over she still looked 50 :-o :-o :-o

The one that surprised me was the Vicar, she looked years younger for her age even before the girls got to work on her, she had a far more vibrant nature than the Mayor who was years her junior, and a figure to envy like mad.

Yeah the vicar did look great for someone in her 50's!!

I've just watched Trinny & Susannah meet their match - dog owners on the ITV i-player. I enjoyed it, it was an interesting insight in to the dog owners lives and some of the clothes were nice.

Don't tell me I missed the doggy one again :( Men and their thing about holding the zapper is a real B!
- By ClaireyS Date 24.01.09 18:03 UTC
I watched it on the itv website, it was really good :)
- By k92303 Date 26.01.09 18:44 UTC
Yeah I know what you mean! My OH is obsessed with car & boat tv shows (yawn) if I have to watch Top Gear yet again I may go mad. ;-)

I'm so glad the various  i-players are there.

Does anyone know where or when the show part was filmed?  I noticed a young dog and thought I might be able to work out who it was with a location or date to help!!
- By Zingiber [gb] Date 26.01.09 23:22 UTC
Bet you were looking at the young Wire :-)  I wonder if it was Hugo - I think he goes to a ringcraft class that Sharon Sutherland runs.

Handsome chap wasn't he?!  We kept watching those two bits on repeat.  I thought it might have got a mention somewhere if it was one we'd know.  I've asked the oracle to take a look :)

In the meantime:  if I want to start field training must I wear a red coat and daft hat?

Sincerely hope not
