Soooooooooooo - how did those of you who went get on ????

Well, not a bad day for the Jagerrehs! Munsters had no CC's but my Mia was BOB. Curtis, my 6 month pup, won J D/B (4 in class - the others were Juniors too!) and got BP and Reserve BD! Really chuffed.:)

In the BIS ring Mia wasn't even looked at again but Curtis was pulled into the final 7 for BPIS!!!! And Chris Bexon said it was particularly close for him to have got a placing...I'm really pleased. The little lad did good! :) :) :)

One of the puppies that I bred got best import puppy and she was 6 months old on the day.

Well done, I did see a couple of Spanish Water dogs being walked around, so I assume one would have been the puppy! :) It's just a pity the imports can't go in for BIS & BPIS etc.

Well I got nada :D Wasn't wearing the right face ;-)

However at a local open show the following day I did get me first spot of judging I judged junior handling and boy was it tough. One wee laddy cried into his mam's arms cos he got placed last (bless him) trouble was he was 10 years old handling a GSD !! The dog pulled him round the ring, and when the dog decided not to stack the lad didn't respond so what could I do ?! I did explain to him that I thought he had done very well and that his dog had just given him a wee bit of a hard time. Still felt awful though :-( Wanted to give him a hug but then thought heck I can't I'm the judge! :rolleyes:

On a lighter note the 10 year old I gave Best JHA to also went on to take Group 2 in terriers and the staffie that beat her took BIS! When I gave her the big rosette the whole place errupted in cheers and clapping, I felt ded embarrassed LOL When I think about it now of course she got the best out of her dog because it was her dog but at the time I judged her I didn't know that and could only judge what I saw at the time. Is that right ??

fosse finally put the results up so I had a peek and saw "the joker" but not "the juggler" :(

Hark at you judging ;) sounds like it was hard to do - poor lad but you couldn't do any different from the sounds of it.

I don't know the rules about JHA and own dogs I'm afraid but you judged what you saw at that time and I wouldn't have thought anybody could ask for anymore than that :)

Know how you feel about the face bit though Claire.... I definitely had the wrong face on.... nothing to do with the fact Pepper beat the judges Show Champion Bitch to BOB at Midland Counties....!!!! ( She got the RBB ) Hmmm...I wonder.... he actually stormed out of the ring and wouldn't do the lap round with me....steward had to go get him....

But I was very happy with my 1st Limit Bitch.... big class for curlies 6...!!!

Can't wait for the Critique....
