I only want to buy one dog paper 'Our Dogs' or 'Dogs World' but which is the best one to buy, & why is it the best in your opinion?

I personally prefer 'Dog World' because it has (or had when I bought it!) more interesting articles than 'Our Dogs'.

I buy Dog World to for the same reason as jeangenie.

i buy Dog World for the same thing.

I used to get both but when I went down to just one, I got Dog World.  I subscribe quaterly and it comes by post.  A lot cheaper and it usually arrives on a Thursday.

Dog World here too for the same reason. Used to get both years ago but just didn't find OD interesting enough, sorry any OD people on here.

Dog World for us too, we find the articles more interesting.

I agree there is more to read in DW but as far as breed notes go, you get a lot more out of OD (even if I say that as a breed note writer for them!) as OD's breed note writers aren't restricted in the same way as to what they write. DW has a lot of restrictions on what can and cannot be reported on from shows, and so a lot gets left out. I also find that you do need both if you want to make sure to not miss any show report as there are times when one will only appear in one paper.

dog world is def beta. years ago I got our dogs, only because they had better breed notes. and then swapped with a friend who got DW. then when the good breed writer finished I moved over to D.W

Must be just me that prefers our dogs.  Found dog world lacks a lot of content that ourdogs does have.
Get both once and see which you like before subscribing.

Good idea malibu, but sometimes you need to read a magazine or paper several times to see which one is the best. I wanted to save myself money by not buying two. Plus i wanted other peoples opinion.

I've only read Our Dogs once or twice, but have been pretty happy with Dog World for some years now. :-)
