The breed club is the best place for full info.  Also joining it are to be recommended for anyone considering breeding for all the research knowledge to be gained from club publications.

As the above post says, your friend should become a member of some of the breed clubs, where the health screening information is available, not many Dane breeders unfortunately hip/elbow score there stock, but I would strongly recommend it, the eye/heart scoring is another which is not done in the breed at the moment!
But if your friend is going to breed, I would recommend, she hip/elbow scores her bitch, and does decide to mate the bitch, find a stud dog which has been scored too.

Thanks for that, she wants to do all health screening that is suggested , in my breed will do hips /elbows and hearts also cystanuria testing , I did look on the dane web sites but not much info is given , shame really cos puppy buyers look in those places as well as potential breeders , i know she will do the best by the breed and not breed if scores are not well below average and not mate to unscored stud
thanks for the info i will pass it on

I wouldn't buy another dane without checking hips, and I would only buy from a trusted breeder and I would do a lot of research on them before purchase.

They are big, expensive animals if it all goes pearshaped.
