Steam type wall paper strippers,

OH decided befor xmas that we needed a new carpet in the sitting room (must admit it has been down for years and suffering from old age). Started to persuade him that it was NOT a good idea 2 weeks befor 25th then Zuma had op so definatly delayed.
Having decided that if we had to move EVERYTHING in the room for carpet we may as well decorate amid the chaos. Got carpet etc and started lunchtime today, 3 walls get painted and 1 has paper.

I Nominate those Steam Paper strippers as the best aid to decorating in the past 30 years.

Just off to start slapping some emulsion on walls (and probably me and Zuma as well )

I must admit I was somewhat disappointed to learn what kind of "stripper" you meant!  Used one ages ago and they sure do beat anything else for removing wallpaper.  Steamer I mean, of course, never used a stripper stripper to remove wallpaper - would distract the men too much from helping :-)

Good for you re using the new carpet to really get the room looking great.  

The stripper I would use would distract my lady friends not the male ones?? LOL
