not all pups are born with blue eyes ,well all mine are'nt but in my last litter of lhasaa apso's i had a blck/white puppy dog who was born with blue eyes and eventually at about 12 weeks they had change to a dark brown ,but only to leave two small areas still blue ,as i wanted to keep him to show, i decided to let him go,{ looked like collie eye,} but when i saw him at 6months of age his eyes were fine, not a trace of blue, could of kicked myself ,but these things happen , no point crying over spilt milk

You are right, I should have said start changing by 8 weeks. I'm sure there are individuals who leave it to much latter, it is the same with teeth. One of the reasons why I find it hard to accept that dogs are mature enough to be spayed or castrated at 6 month or even before. Ja:)kie
