Yes - for any HPR to be awarded an International Ch title it must ::

To be eligible for the title International Beauty Champion, these dogs must have
obtained :
a) in two different countries, under two different judges, two certificats d'aptitude au
Championnat International de Beauté (CACIB), no matter the number of dogs;
b) between the first and last CACIB, a minimum period of one year and one day must have
elapsed.

PLUS

In addition to a) and b), the hunting dog must have passed a hunting test/trial specific to
its breed in which the Certificat d'Aptitude au Championnat National de Travail (CACT) is
competed for. The date of the test/trial is not taken into account.

The CACIT trials are high level trials where the "finished" dog is tested hunting, pointing, retrieve and water work.
K

PS After affiliation to the FCI I did wonder if the FT run in Ireland would be changed to bring them in line with FCI FT's for HPR's. ? I have not had a response from the Irish KC when I emailed them some time ago .. ??
