Yes, we travelling over Sat pm, and travelling back Sunday pm, all the hotels are very expensive, so we decided just to sail back Sun night.

Could you tell me a bit more about the ferries please? I have sent my dogs reg off to the IKC so plan to enter.

We usually trevel with P&O ferries from Cairnryan, Troon to Larne, then travel down there's ferries from Liverpool to Dublin also.
There's a few companies, P&o being one, Irish Sea, Stenna, depending on where your travelling from, Belfast/Larne is about 2hours drive to Dublin.

They either stay in your car /van or in the kennels which are located on the car deck. You cannot visit the car deck while the ferry is sailing.

Checkout www.ikc.ie i'm sure you can get a discount if you're a member, well you used to get it anyway, not sure if they're still doing it tho.

Yes, unfortunately the dogs stay in the vechicle, but ours don't even notice, they lie and sleep, always leave the windows open a bit, can get warm in the car deck.
We tried to get discout from the IKE, when we were over at the circuit, but they dont dont it know!

Sweeney Travel sometimes do cheap ferries, also type in cheap ferries ie to find companies
