Had the annual house cleaning exercise today and have found lots of coins from various holidays.  Any ideas on what to do with them ? Thought I heard something about charities collecting them ?

Hi MM,

Yep! you'r absolutely right, and its most charities that accept any types of currency (some currencies are not meant to be taken out of their country of issue, so check that first)
I spent many years as Flight crew for British Airways and used to save up all my bits and bobs and donate to different charities.
Im going back about 7 yrs now but I seem to remember The Post office gave to Barnardo's and all the high street banks would have a charity of the year from Marie Curie, cancer research to mencap..all sorts.
Pretty much most charities will accept foreign currency, check their websites for details... I think I was always able to donate at a Bank for most.
HTH!

Who will you choose?
(I'm bias... but Air Ambulance is a good one! ;) )

I think you can hand them in at Oxfam too.
