I have 2 Jack Russells,male and female,they did have pups about a year ago and then I had the male "done" at the end of May.Anyway the female came into season about 6 weeks ago,I did not separate them as I thought nothing could happen,even though they did try all the time!
Now the female is being very very loving and is hungry all the time,I haven't noticed any change in her teats but as she has had pups before,would I?
So my question is could she be pregnant?
She has put on a little weight.

Kizzy, the very occassional man gets a nasty shock after a vasectomy, but if your boy was castrated in May, he can't father pups. Is there any possibility that another canine Romeo paid your bitch a secret vist? If not she may be having a phantom pregnancy.
