I am entering my bitch in a exemption show in January, I know these are novilty classes but can you tell what sort of classes they are. I heard they were classes such as prettiest bitch etc any one tell me a few more

irish brace( two dogs least alike)
dog the judge would like to take home
best veteran
best crossbreed
best rescue
dog and owner fancy dress
dog doing best trick

Can you enter as many as you want?

do your dogs have to be certain ages to be classed as pups etc

They will also have the 'breed show' type classes running alongside the novelty classes - however, these will only be split into groups.

From memory so don't shout if I'm wrong folks, there are normally 4 classes for purebred (but not necessarily KC registered) dogs:

Puppy (6-12 months)
Sporting (any age, Gundog, Terrier, Hound)
Non-Sporting (any age, Working, Pastoral, Toy, Utility)
Open (all breeds, no age restriction)

Hi again dogs, for Pedigree classes pups have to be 12 months and under on the day. For novelty classes you can enter as many classes as you like. Hope you enjoy yourself, Exemption shows are a good place to start.

Abby's breeder has put a section on dog showing on her website. On her list of novelty classes, she lists the first as Pettiest Bitch. Is this for the owners?!;)

If it is I'm sure that Beth would win - afterall she is astonishingly beautiful :D :D :D Not to certain about the bitch part though,a lthough she is trying to give up smoking so that may well apply :D :D :D :D :D
