Santa left me a DS for Christmas. He also gave me the Brain Training game.
Are there any other so called "grown ups" with a DS that can tell me of some good games please?

I love sonic and mario olympics. Im also trying to get the curious village which looks reasonably grown up !!!

Trauma(under the knife...I used to work in A&E and Theatres!), a role playing game, but I love all the puzzles and Brain Academy ones...best thing to do is go to Amazon and look though the DS games, you often get a review of the games from adults that is fairly accurate! I like to keep me poor brain going for as long as I can! I set myself challenges and usually play if I can't sleep at night! You could also buy a nintendog game! Enjoy!
CSI Dark Motives is quite good.

I don't have one (yet!), but I liked the look of the game they advertised it with. The one where you had to draw three lines to separate the sheep. That looks like a good one. Maybe someone else will know what it's called. Sorry, not much help really, am I!

ermm..nope!!! LOL ;-)

I've just posted some completely useless information on another thread too. Going to give up trying to be helpful tonight and go to bed, as it's not working! :)

Ohh Bless you my child...didn't mean to upset you Hunni, it was just funny! ;-)

That puzzle's in Professor Layton & the Curious Village. Some puzzles are really easy and some are really hard. I really enjoyed it.

Don't be silly, you didn't upset me, I was going to bed anyway.
It obviously wasn't all rubbish, someone understood what I was talking about, so I can blame Karen if I now go out and buy one! :)

My daughter got this for Xmas and I can't stop playing it LOL! Some I just can't figure out at all but others love it 'if' I suss it out! Did you get the camera and case one? Can't get my head round that one at all!

These are the games I have. I tend to look on sites like Play, Amazon etc and read the reviews to get an idea about any game I buy. I have also picked some up from good prices online by shopping around. Not had much success with the sound recognition in the brain training games so have given up on that. Retro stuff like pacman and space invaders appeals to me as I played it the first time they appeared on the early consoles, although some people may find them too simplistic now.
New Super Mario Bros
Touchmaster
42 All-Time Classics
Space Invaders Extreme
Tetris DS
Big Brain Academy
Mario Kart DS
Sonic Rush
Bomberman
Namco Museum DS (Pacman)
More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima

Thanks everyone. I do quite fancy the prof layton one.

Hi Newfiedreams
Role playing....oh yes!!!! We are a Nintendo family...kids play Mario and Pokemon, OH plays Zelda and........Pokemon. Not what youd expect from someone heading rapidly for 50 LOL We have to buy a new console everytime they bring out a new Zelda game :).......Still, now he has broken his own unwritten rule and bought a PS3 cos the HD would look good on the new telly!!!( sorry to say I have to agree with him, Assasins Creed was great!!)

i got prof layton - rich bought it for me not realising the age marked on it (7+, but don't be fooled..!). I was struggling on puzzles worth 20 pictorats!! I've not finished it yet though - i keep forgetting to play it. I've only got that and the two Brain Training games. My friend plays Touch Master a lot - might get that.

I love the Prof Layton game but i think touchmaster is pretty poor :(
I can highly recommend all the brain training ones and scrabble :)
