Yes, vaccinated dogs can still be affected by parvovirus. :(

My bitch had mucusy poo when she was about 9 months, it was bloody too! Panicked took her to the vet and tried everything! He gave her antibiotics and a week later he took a blood sample to see if she had an allergy to anything. She was fine in herself, eating and drinking as normal and playing with her friends. About a week after the blood test she went to the toilet by the back door. It had a tape worm in it, I only knew what it was because I had seen a couple before in horse manure. I keep a strict worming routine with both my horses and my dogs so I did not understand how she had picked one up. The vet did not seem to concerned but did suggest that I vary the wormer I use with both horse and dog.

Would help if she did not have such an appitite for horse poo! I spend a lot of my time telling her off for eating it - yuk! The fresher the better too! I have to be damn quick with the poop scoop!
