thats such a lovely generous thing to do.  just hope that all that money gets used wisely.

when i 'pop my clogs' then i plan to leave some money to animal charities but unless i win the lottery it will not be nowhere close to that amount.  whilst still breathing i do what i can and give donations to the local animal rescue and d/d to blue x.

I like the gentlemans comments  "She was astute. cultured and very well informed and also very private"...

Or he could have said...

The Government only receives money for the British public, you and me in other words :-) but having said that she is entitled to leave her money where she wishes.
