last year myself and my girlfriend gained a litter of pups from two sharpeis which were kc registered in my girlfriends name...the pubs were all then registered and we then sold three of the pups....this year we have since split up ...and decided that my ex would keep the two older dogs and i would raise the remaining sharpei pup myself...we have since fallen out and my ex is dragging her heels on the kc papers ...i dont think she is going to give them to me ....since everything was done in my ex,s name is there anything i can do to get papers for my pup?

No but if she decides she wants the remaining pup back KC reg doc's do not denote ownership.

On the other hand you could try no papers you have the pups back, it may work :-)

Know a few who have tried that and got a big fat NO from the KC even when they were the original breeder would be very surpised if they accept it to be honest.
