cleo my rotty bitch is driving me crazy, she is jumping on buds back and biteing his ears, i dont understand why she is doing this, she was due in season in september but so far no sign. could this be the reason and if so how can i stop her, i think bud is geting fed up now, and i am lucky he is not bitein her back

Hi bitches always do it to each other when one of them is coming in season it gives me a bit of a sign and recently when my puppy was having her first season she was doing it to eveyone even my 10 week old male pup. i just kept telling her no and if she didnt stop removed her from him she soon got the message all the best gwen

cleo had her pups july 1st when do you think she will be in season again? she has been jumpin on poor bud for 2 weeks now, her last season was april.

not only is she jumping on him she is also eating the shed and laying on the table outside like a queen. i have never had this with the dogs that i have had. any advice would be great, and thanks

Is Bud castrated by any chance, if so she may be feeling dominant towards him. She won't consider him as a male, and will not be sure what he is so just in case she will be making sure he is put in his place and that she is recognised as top dog.
If he is intire, it may just be hormonal, after a litter several different hormonal upheavels happen and she will soon settle down and consider him a potential mate. Jackie

bud has got al his bits, it was him that cleo had the pups with, and they both think they are boss, but i am top boss and they know that. she seems to be a lot more active now the pups have gone.

In which case I would have thought she is just flirting, my bitch does it with my youngest dog, think she fances her chances. But just let him try it on and he is soon put in his place. As you can see I bought her up a good feminist. Ja:)kie
