Hi White Lilly, I have 3 ESS, 1 L/W male called Jasper aged 10, B/W bitch called Keira aged 5, and pregnant Sophie B/W age 3.
Our dining room is like a delivery room at a hospital, ive got everything i need in a huge box and pen and paper so I can write down time born, M/F markings, placenta delivered etc.
As long as everyones puppies are born safely with no problems I dont care if Sophie comes last lol!

is it normal to do this start and stop like this?

Yes very normal, bit like out labours really they start off as just a bit of discomfort then slowly get going to a heck of a lot of discomfort :-)
