Unfortunately a high price does not guarantee a caring genuine owner. In my area, before the advent of the dog warden, the streets were full of strays - and most of them were pedigree

These ranged from red setters and st bernards to caveliers and labradors, in fact any breed you care to mention - all bought as status symbols and kicked out every day to roam :( Even today I regularly see an Italian Spinone roaming - his owner claims he can't keep the dog in, but I never see the owner looking for him :rolleyes:
My main problem with Labradoodles is that they are marketed as a breed, which they aren't - yet :rolleyes: but the price charged would buy you a pedigree pup from a top show breeder. And there are breeds already that would fit the description of non shedding.
