How about a really posh cruise?  Get to see a few places, excellent supply of food, entertainment etc.  Friends of mine have done it a couple of times and love it :D

ive always fancy that atlantis hotel dunno where it is...barbados  i think   but the hotel  looks  amazing
they have this huge  water slide that goes through the to of a  tank filled with sharks!!!  looks like your gonna go in with them!!!!
and the hotel grounds are amazing

She doesn't like cruises as she likes to be able to get off when she wants.  typical woman.  Try again

The Atlantis hotel is in the Bahamas on Nassau.  Didn't stay at that hotel but I have been to Nassau, I am sure it is very nice in the sunshine, it rained for the week we were there. :(

My brother stayed at Atlantis,loved it and his 'backyard' as he termed it, looking out from his room,looked directly onto the yacht marina!
38 family went altogether over christmas and new years,all had a fab time.Especially as it was all paid for by one very rich uncle!! celebrating his retirement with the 'close family members'.

Isn't that under the sea :D  Sounds possible as her birthday is October so it looks like the Grand Canyon is out.  Anywhere that's going to be hot between November and January.  I'll look into it - it's in my 'possible file'.
